575.717 Hydrology
This course reviews components of the hydrologic cycle, including precipitation, evapotransportation, infiltration, subsurface flow, and runoff. Analysis of hydrologic data, including frequency analysis and the use of stochastic models for describing hydrologic processes, is also covered.
Prerequisites: Fluid Mechanics or an equivalent course in fluid flow or hydraulics.
