Teach for Us
Johns Hopkins University Engineering for Professionals (JHU EP) offers rigorous and distinctive master’s degrees to working professionals. JHU EP, part of the Whiting School of Engineering, seeks uniquely qualified instructors to teach part-time in this nationally recognized program.
One of the largest programs of its kind in the country, JHU EP offers master’s degrees in twenty disciplines and enrolls approximately 3,400 students per year. Instructors may be asked to teach in a classroom setting at any of seven locations across the greater Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area or in an online environment, depending upon the needs of a specific program.
Requirements: Master’s degree required; doctorate in engineering or a related field preferred. Depending on your technical discipline, a minimum of five to ten years of work experience in engineering or a related field and a track record of success are required. Previous teaching experience is preferred, but we will consider motivated individuals who lack experience.
Instructor appointments are on a course-by-course basis.
