Southern Maryland Higher Education Center
This facility was created by the Maryland General Assembly to serve as the regional upper-level undergraduate and graduate education and research institution for Southern Maryland. Currently, nine colleges and universities are participating and offering programs in education, management, and engineering and applied science. Facilities include two buildings with classrooms, a large multipurpose room, computer labs, a learning conference room, a bookstore, a student lounge, a vending area, and interactive videoconferencing capability.
