About the Program

The Data Analytics Boot Camp at Johns Hopkins Engineering is a 24-week, part-time program that gives you the knowledge and skills to conduct robust analytics on a host of real-world problems. Whether you are employed or a full-time participant, our boot camp is designed to fit into your life, with convenient weekend and evening sessions.

The program is rigorous, fast-paced, and focused on the practical, technical skills needed to solve data problems. Throughout the course, you will gain proficiency in numerous marketable technologies, including Excel, Python, JavaScript, SQL Databases, Tableau, and more. You will leave with an impressive professional portfolio and the confidence to succeed in today’s data-driven economy.

Program Features

  • Learn Intermediate Excel, Python, JavaScript (D3.js, Leaflet.js), HTML5/CSS, API Interactions, SQL, Tableau, Fundamental Statistics, Machine Learning, R, Git/GitHub, and more.*
  • Complete projects using real data sets from finance, healthcare, government, social welfare, and more—allowing you to build a strong portfolio with demonstrated mastery.
  • Study part-time, three days a week, while maintaining your work schedule.

Prerequisites

No programming experience is required; however, it is recommended that applicants hold a Bachelor’s Degree or have at least two years of experience in business, management, finance, statistics, or a related field.
