This course is intended for the physicist or engineer interested in the design of space experiments and space systems. This class presents the fundamental technical background, current state of the art, and example applications in the development of space systems. Topics include systems engineering, space environment, astrodynamics, propulsion and launch vehicles, attitude determination and control, and space power systems. This course is team taught by experts in their respective fields. Prerequisite(s): An undergraduate degree in physics or engineering or the equivalent.
