Health Insurance for U.S. Residents

Domestic students at Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals have no health insurance requirement. If domestic students are enrolled with full-time status (i.e., they are enrolled in at least three courses per semester), then they have the option to purchase the Johns Hopkins University-sponsored health insurance plan at their own expense.

Health Insurance for International Students

International students who are studying in the United States, and are enrolled in three courses or more to satisfy their visa requirements, are considered to be full-time status. They are required to enroll in the Johns Hopkins University-sponsored health insurance plan.
