Mario L. Lento is a member of the Senior Professional Staff at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, in the Space Exploration Sector. Working at APL for 7 years, Mario serves as the assistant group supervisor for the Applied Space Research group where he contributes as space systems engineer with various civil space and national security space projects. Mario works as a space systems engineer in the Lunar Surface Innovation Consortium (LSIC) program, which is an alliance of universities, industry, nonprofits, NASA, and other government agencies with a vested interest in establishing a sustained presence on the moon. Mario received his B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida.
