MATLAB
MATLAB is available for free for instructors and students through the myJHU portal. Please visit the portal, log in, and look for “Technology” on the lefthand side of the page. From there, please click on “mySoftware,” and then follow the link to access the Software Catalog. Under the Software Catalog, please click “Order Software” and search for MATLAB.
AntiVirus Software
Visit the JHU Information Technology page to see what antivirus protection is appropriate for your personal and JHU owned computer.
Other Downloads
Software such as Microsoft Office, Windows, Adobe, and Mathematica is available through the myJHU portal. Much of it is available at no cost for students and instructors. Please visit the portal, log in, and look for “Technology” on the lefthand side of the page. From there, please click on “mySoftware,” and then follow the links to access the Software Catalog. Johns Hopkins Technology Store
The Johns Hopkins Technology Store it.johnshopkins.edu/services/store/ offers Hopkins students, faculty, and staff convenient access to specially configured and priced academic computing hardware and expert service and support. A valid Hopkins ID is required for “personal purchase” sales. Currently supported vendors include Apple, Dell, and HP.
GovConnection
GovConnection offers JHU employees the same discount on purchases of computers, consumer electronics, and software as the JHU contracted price. The purchases can be for work or personal use. To set up your account, go to govconnection.com/IPA/Account/Login.
