Dr. Michael Fitch
Michael Fitch obtained his PhD in Physics in 2000 from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, where his dissertation received the 2001 URA Thesis Award. After postdoctoral fellowships at the Institute of Optics in Rochester and at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, in 2013, he became a member of the APL’s research staff, where his research interests are lasers, photonics, sensors, and quantum optics. Fitch received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Princeton University.
