Dr. Mei-Ching Chen
Dr. Mei-Ching Chen is an experienced program analyst supporting various Federal agencies including the National Institutes of Health Center for Scientific Review. Her current work includes practical solutions for data collection, processing, quality, analysis, and integrity practices as well as data management systems. Her research interests including bibliometric analysis, data management, data mining, digital signal processing, information security, mobile platforms and applications, pattern recognition, and process improvement. Research areas are applied to raw data, one and multi-dimensional signals as well as the development and integration of software systems. Teaching has been a focus area in which lectures consist of hands-on experimental laboratories, practical applications, and theoretical concepts in computer science, electrical engineering, and mathematical disciplines. Teaching experience comprises of both graduate and undergraduate courses, e.g., Algorithms, Computer Programming, Digital Signal Processing, Engineering Analysis, Neural Networks, and Signals and Systems.
