Clyde Smithson is a Senior Staff Engineer of the in the Air and Missile Defense Sector of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. His background includes expertise in system development and analysis, software design and development, and integration of large-scale systems and simulations often with a system of systems focus. His area of interest is solving complex problems with modern systems engineering and management approaches using models, simulations, and data visualization to enable the high quality decision making.
