Mr. Tom LaBatt
Thomas E. LaBatt (Tom) received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Norwich University Military College of Vermont in 1990 and later received a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from the same university. Mr. LaBatt started his career out on the West Coast at the Pacific Missile Test Center Pt. Mugu California and then transferred to NAVAIR at Patuxent Naval Air Station in 1995. Positions held within NAVAIR are Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer, Lead Test and Evaluation Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer for all Naval Strike Aircraft, Lead E3 Engineer for all Naval Strike Aircraft, Assistant Program Manager for System Engineering (Class Desk Engineer) for the United States Naval Test Pilot School, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and currently the Senior Staff Advisor to RADM Gaddis PEO(T) for strategic planning and continuous process improvement. Mr. LaBatt has taught a variety of face-to-face classes across NAVAIR and serves as an adjunct professor in the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering EP program.
