- 575.727.81 Environmental Monitoring and Sampling (Fall 2020)
Dr. Khandaker Ashfaque is a Principal Engineer and Groundwater Modeling Lead at Arcadis U.S., Inc. He has extensive experience in the field of hydrogeology and geochemistry with particular emphasis on site conceptual evaluation, numerical modeling, chemical transport, subsurface remediation, and fractured bedrock hydrogeology. Dr. Ashfaque is vastly experienced in developing and applying numerical and analytical groundwater models to hazardous waste sites in a wide variety of hydrogeologic settings located throughout North America and Asia.
Dr. Ashfaque earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he holds a P.E. in California. Dr. Ashfaque has co-authored a book on fate and transport of Arsenic in groundwater.
