An introduction to the mechanics of biological materials and systems. Both soft tissue such as muscle and hard tissue such as bone will be studied as will the way they interact in physiological functions. Special emphasis will be given to orthopedic biomechanics. Recommended Course Background: EN.530.215/EN.530.216 and Lab or equivalent.
