Benjamin A. Minnick received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 2022. Since then, he has been employed in the Maneuvering and Control Division at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division in West Bethesda, MD. He currently develops physics and machine-based reduced-order models to predict the hydrodynamic maneuvering performance of submarines.
