Millie Wears is a retired United States Navy Captain with extensive senior leadership and management experience in the Department of Defense as well as in engineering and government organizations. She also has executive experience working on the staff of the Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) National Navy Reserve Policy Board and the Chief of Naval Operations(CNO). Ms Wears has worked with other military Service departments, including the Joint Staff and Secretary of Defense. Her key strengths include strategic planning, technical program management (personnel and organizational), defense analysis, and security transition planning. Ms Wears is a LUMA Institute certified Design Thinking expert with a passion for helping organizations explore improved ways of organizing and executing their mission.
