Dr. Talia E. Abbott Chalew received her PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she was also a Post-Doctoral Fellow. Her research has focused on emerging nanoparticles as drinking water contaminants. She has conducted exposure assessments on emerging pharmaceutical and personal care products, as well as investigated the health effects of engineered metal nanoparticles. She is currently an Adjunct Professor teaching and developing both undergraduate and graduate courses.
